BACKGROUND
After spending time in Vancouver BC, shooting season two of Lucifer and completing the Warner Bros. Directors’ Program, Kevin Alejandro had an itch to shoot and direct something on his own. He asked his good friend and writer, Derek Ray to write a 10 minute short film with the preliminary request that consisted of two people in one location. The idea, 'Adult Night' was inspired and born out of a real-life couple’s experience with finding new ways to spice up their lives. It was not until a couple of years later when production moved Lucifer to Los Angeles that Kevin resurrected the script and asked his wife, Leslie Alejandro to co-direct the short film with him. With undoubtable chemistry between Kevin Alejandro and his Lucifer co-star, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin asked Lesley-Ann to play opposite of him, in which she agreed to do so, as well as join the producing team. Close friend, Director, Producer, and Editor, Todd Sandler came on board to help shape the story and concept. And to complete the team, Dani de Jesus signed on as producer.
